There is Mortar Love

When I look at a brick whether thin or quite thick, there’s a message grabbing my heart and longing to stick.

When they sat on their own as cold lonely stones, would they ever have known?

Focus on one, the big picture is undone, but together, more than one, CAN overcome.

When you feel like nothing at all, I will love you, make you big and tall. Together we will be that great towering wall.

You’re not a brick, a stone or a boulder, but dare I suggest a theory to test?

That love is our mortar

We make a structure, a great lasting kind when we give love and keep one another as first in our mind.

Let love be our mortar.
